LiveAnalysis filters out computer-generated monitoring tools such as bots. These technologies are not intelligent: They crawl Web pages, but do not load images onto a page, and do not represent actual, human site visitors. In essence, LiveAnalysis is a request for this invisible image. If the image is not loaded, the service does not count the non-human request.
The products also detect and separate intelligent agents from valid, human page impression counts and report these separately from unique browsers.
